Bessie | Character Design
Above are my finished character designs for my short film project titled “Bessie.” This film follows Bessie trying to navigate being at a new school - and standing out because of her appearance. Her new classmates aren’t the most inviting, and it’s hard fitting in when you look so different. This film navigates the taboo world of being a fat young girl and tries to translate that experience into a fun, colorful story about self love and body positivity.
